Remember though that Philly gave the 23rd overall pick to land both Timonen and Hartnell. Here's an idea -- how about trading rights to negotiate with Hainsey for Malone? :)Discuss - as a fan would you be excited by a Ryan Malone acquisition? Do you expect him to play wing or center?-LTL. Which leaves the time with their compliment of young starters to shuffle as they see fit.Perkins, Slowey and Blackburn all seem perfectly capable of locking in their rotation spot, but none of them have been able to string together 2-3 great starts like the Twins need them to.None of them is clearly set in the rotation, but no one is moving out either, so it will be a hard call for the front office on who gets sent to the pen or to AAA.The situation is enough to make you wonder, is the front office waiting for Liriano to be ready, or for someone in the rotation to falter enough to merit their demotion?Denard Span was activated yesterday, but apparently isn't 100% yet and didn't play in last night's loss.Span's injury came at the worst possible time for him. Open telecast. In light of Tiger's 30 on the back nine Friday and his eagle-hole out birdie-eagle trifecta Saturday, 'good' appears to be taking a backseat to 'great' this week. Quite refreshing!. You get the picture.Does this make a career? No. Does it mean he's going to be as consistently good every week, and "be a good one?" Nope. But does that stop the TV voice from forecasting the future of this golfer? Not in the least. All the pro is doing, and doing quite well, is having a good or hot day on the links.Refreshingly, I haven't heard that line used at this year's U.S. 2005 and 2006 were years to forget for marlins fans but in 2007 joe girardi was named manager of the year and promptly fired after disputes with management here we are in 2008 later and the marlins are in the thick of things AGAIN! For years we have heard about the success of the Atlanta Braves and rightfully so 14 straight division titles well never be repeated but the braves have had one important element in there corner that of consistency the marlins organization has been anything but. The braves have had a solid core of chipper and Andrew jones offensively at least till last year and for many years the big 3 of glavine maddux and smoltz.
and history repeated itself joshBeckett ans ajBurnett were traded pudge ridriguez became a free agent. Anyway, a person may have grown up as a devoted fan of the Vikings, or whatever team they love. These are who I would call, "The Homesick Fans".4 College Players. Quite frankly, the only person on that team I like is Adrian Peterson because he runs like a beast. The true fan stands by their team, no matter what shape they're in.I call these, "The Bandwagoners".3 Family My family is entirely fans of the Minnesota Vikings I, however, am not. Many people who live away from their team is a fan of them because of how good they are.
For a manager to not know his best 11 in a major tournament is something which can only be described as suicidal. He's got his selection of the 23 players in his squad wrong in my opinion.Which selections has he got wrong?Bafetimbi Gomis is without a doubt a talented goalscorer. It has been incredibly poor despite having very talented players such as Karim Benzema, Thierry Henry, William Gallas, Franck Ribery and Samir Nasri.A couple of these players haven't even been used fully in both the matches which France have played.Somehow, Raymond Domenech feels that playing older players would help France get out of the toughest group in Euro 2008. For having favoured, believed and placed so much expectations on Lewis Hamilton was just too early and ignoring the evident truth that this year in 2008 Mclaren and Alonso would need to work together more than last year, why? because for the simple reason this year the competition got a lot tougher, meaner and badder! The Ferrari F2008 is a clear response to last year's McLaren strong lead in the manufacturer's championship in other words: revenge! BMW-Sauber's F1.08 has reached that next level of pace and right now McLaren is on the back footer, a spectator of the fight for no.1 manufacturer being played out by Ferrari and BMW.Clearly failing to predict how the competition would fare in 2008 was a strategic blunder of gargantuan consequences. Inadvertently, Fernando provided Lewis with extra motivation on track which translated in the most succesful maiden season ever; but most importantly banking in on all the manufacturer's points that could be grabbed on each Grand Prix, something Mclaren is clearly not doing this year!!The lost opportunityClearly Mclaren and Alonso took the wrong path with one another; Ron Dennis is clearly to blame for all this shamble.
